About

Sometimes in life we can feel unsure of ourselves. Have you ever been told your emotions are too much or too big? Chances are you have been invalidated at some point in your life. These experiences make it harder for us to trust ourselves. Through discovering your values you can deepen your understanding of who you are and learn to trust yourself again. By creating an open, nonjudgmental safe space, I hope you will facilitate growth on your own terms.

In addition to specializing in challenges related to microaggressions and implicit bias, I work with young adults and adults living with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, life transitions, amongst other things. I utilize a client-centered approach with a multicultural lens along with therapy approaches Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT and DBT.

In my counseling practice, I emphasize the fact that change will not happen until you accept who you are, right now, in this very moment. Through this experience, I hope we can work together to enhance your understanding of yourself.
