About

Contemplating change is a first step on the path towards personal growth, healing and freedom. Collaborating with a therapist to build curiosity, witness and provide mirroring could be a vital next step toward transformation. I work from a compassionate, Trauma-Informed framework, to enhance mental wellness through the exploration and connection of the mind, body and behaviors. My passion is working with families, teens and young adults who have experienced traumas, and/or who live with learning challenges, ADHD, anxiety, depression and substance use.

The environment is built around your needs, focusing on your values, beliefs and resilience to highlight potential and fulfill dreams. Through mindfulness, cognitive behavioral exercises, art therapy and talk therapy, I support the modification of behaviors and self-regulation holistically by exploring personal relationships, purpose, health and creativity.

As a MINT member (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers) I incorporate Motivational Interviewing into my practice and facilitate introductory and advanced practice trainings. I am an Adjunct Professor in the Creative Arts Therapy department at Pratt Institute and provide individual/group supervision to new therapists and those seeking licensure.
