Therapists » Licensed Professional Counselor
My ideal client is one who challenges me to work hard to come up with different therapy approaches in order to create necessary change. I am excited and look forward to our sessions because clients are open to change, are able to trust, and somewhat understand the benefits of therapy. They live in various places and have multiple careers. Some might not be employed, but retired or disabled. They come to me because they have a desire for me to provide therapy services and are open to communication; have experienced disappointments previously; are tired of feeling depressed, self-defeated; low self-esteem; anxiety and or trauma. My practice offer clients continued hope for necessary change. I have worked with various client populations to include the following: depression, bi-polar disorder; anxiety; trauma; academic advisement, career counseling; substance abuse, grief and loss, as well a relationship concerns. I am also a Marriage and Family Therapist. I am an excellent listener and believe it is extremely important to meet clients where they are. I believe my work is a calling, I work to treat the whole person including self-care, work life balance, as well a self-esteem enhancement. I utilize a Person Centered approach meaning you are in charge, and we go at your speed. I absolutely love my work!
