Deanna is a licensed professional counselor who earned a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Marian College at Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and a master’s of science degree in educational/professional counselor tract from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. Often described as compassionate, hard-working, creative and curious, Deanna has experience working with individuals who live with substance use disorders, chronic mental health disorders and developmental disabilities. She has worked in day treatment settings, residential treatment facilities and in a methadone clinic. View 29 Photos

She spent the last five years providing case management and in-home therapy to individuals in a community support program. Deanna became a therapist to help support loved ones with mental health issues and after having overcome her own life struggles. She has a strong desire to eliminate mental health stigma and to help improve the lives of others.

She hopes to help others improve their life satisfaction by reducing their emotional suffering and by developing resilience. Deanna believes that therapy is a special journey of self-discovery and personal growth. She feels blessed to be part of that journey for those in her care. She believes that with the right tools, people can overcome life’s barriers.
