As an experienced clinician with close to 30 years providing counseling services to individuals, families, groups and communities, I enjoy working with people and strive toward productive, meaningful interactions. Dedicated to the therapeutic process and personal journeys of exploration, I believe myself to be a ‘gentle” motivator and natural teacher, intuitive and realistic in my approach assisting others to draw upon personal strengths and abilities. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified master's level Addiction Counselor with close to 30 years experience and am skilled in several theoretical approaches to therapy utilizing cognitive and motivational, person- centered therapies and, humanistic modalities. I work with adults of all ages with diverse needs and at various lifespan stages. I believe in people and in the living, breathing scenic route we all experience to get to where we are and to where we are going. I have personal, familial, and social experience in a wide range of life events. I found myself needing help and am so grateful to have met people in professional and social-network settings who made such tremendous impacts on me
