Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I aim to create a space that encourages curiosity and the safety to share yourself as you want to be seen. I work with adults who experience depression, anxiety, sleep issues, low self-esteem, and challenging life transitions as well as those who have experienced trauma. I believe that each of us has innate strengths and abilities to heal from challenging life experiences. Within each of us, there exists the capacity for healing and growth and the answers to living a more joyful life. Together, and at a pace that feels safe to you, we will explore past experiences, discuss current concerns, and work to build a more fulfilling future I believe that healing happens when we use a holistic approach through attending to both the mind and the body. I incorporate body-based and cognitive approaches into my sessions depending on the client's past experiences, presenting concerns, and goals for therapy. I am trained in EMDR, DBT, ACT, Polyvagal Theory, and CBT-I. My style is warm, genuine, compassionate, and client-centered. I provide a peaceful and supportive environment. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the core of resolving concerns therefore, it is important that you feel seen and understood. I am always learning with my clients and work from a place of humility, curiosity, and authenticity.
