Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I work with adults and couples who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and trauma or who are looking for support as they navigate issues of relationships, personal identity, and grief. Therapy can help you get unstuck in any of these areas and assist you in feeling better, more grounded, and in control. My approach is eclectic, borrowing from psychodynamic, IFS, and ACT modalities, and takes into account your own particular needs and goals. Together we will notice unhelpful patterns or dynamics, identify their source, and build on your own strengths to help jumpstart change in your life and relationships. My clients tell me that they appreciate my thoughtfulness, empathy, humor, and realistic perspective. You can expect me to maintain a safe and compassionate space while exploring difficult topics. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community and have also worked extensively with young adults and people experiencing grief or loss. Considering the needs of the whole person, including spirituality and relationships, is especially important to me. You can trust that I will value your individual experience in our work together.
