I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist in Chicago, Illinois. In my therapy practice, I work with individuals (adolescents, emerging adults and older adults) as well as couples. Therapy can be a unique experience for deepening understandings of self, relationships, and our life story. In navigating the therapeutic process in service of greater freedom, we’ll co-create the foundation necessary for our work: a genuine, trusting, relationship. My role is to help you clarify your inner struggles and challenges in the greater world with the hope of living a more fulfilling life. We’ll establish power-sharing values to center your identities and truths so that you may speak honestly about whatever is most important to you. Our work will reclaim your natural strength and expand your sense of freedom to better understand your needs, wishes, and goals. I listen carefully for the contours of one’s experiences and one’s patterns for living. My approach to therapy, drawn from psychodynamic principles, is integrative and trauma-informed.
