I have been a licensed psychologist and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Illinois since 2007. I am now licensed as a psychologist in Arizona. I have worked with numerous clients and issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, chronic illness, LGBT issues, and dual diagnosis disorders to name a few. I enjoy working with chronic issues as well as adults going through a major stressor or major life change. My goal is to have you feel understood and to understand yourself more fully and empathically. Therapy is all about healing. I find that I am drawn to working with people who are struggling with life on many levels. I especially work well with those suffering from depression, low self-esteem, traumatic issues, and compulsive behaviors. I specialize in diversity and have worked with numerous groups of people. As someone trained in community mental health, I have become comfortable with most issues and situations. Even though I may have "heard it before", you are different from everyone else and my goal is to be with you on your path to self-discovery.
