I specialize in supporting young people during the transitional years between ages 10-24. Growing up is hard work and a dedicated therapeutic place to share can help. I serve clients who are experiencing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, social troubles, difficult emotions, social concerns, managing screen time/digital device use, adjustment and future planning, ADHD, self-esteem, and navigating relationship dynamics. I have a special interest in supporting high school and college students as they navigate this time and working with clients during the important years of transition to healthy young adulthood. I utilize various therapies including DBT, IFS, Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness (as taught by Tara Brach, PhD), and understanding ADHD as taught by Dr. David Nowell. I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Trained clinician. I am trained in LifeForce Yoga for Anxiety treatment, Sand Tray, and Holistic Therapies. I work collaboratively with my clients to gain insight and view therapy as a healing alliance that can be deeply meaningful, dynamic, sometimes challenging, often surprising, and even fun. At all times, I seek to bring warmth, compassion, and a mindful presence to the therapy experience.
