About

I believe everyone, no matter what their past experience, has an inborn ability for healing. Some reactions we learn for survival can become problems later in life. I'll help you understand how some of your current challenges and symptoms relate to your mind and body's natural, protective wisdom and together we'll access that wisdom for healing. This biology based approach sees you as someone worthy of support, yearning for wellness and capable of improvement, no matter your diagnosis. Skill building, trauma reprocessing, attachment focused support, education, parenting support and mindfulness are among the approaches we may use.

It doesn't have to be an ordeal to heal. Together we address even the most difficult issues without making the wound worse. It may not be easy, but I'll make sure you have the skills, strength and support you need to move forward when you feel ready.

My years of clinical experience in mental health, group home, in-home family therapy, foster care, outpatient and school settings, including on the Flathead Reservation, provide perspectives unfamiliar to many therapists. As a member of the Training Faculty for the Trauma Resource Institute, I understand well how experience affects mind, body and spirit.
