Life can be difficult to navigate even under the best of circumstances. I believe that counseling can provide clients with new insights into how they can use their strengths in order to meet whatever challenges life presents them with. My job as a counselor is to help clients identify those strengths and learn how to apply them in order to overcome their concerns and live more content lives. I am a mental health/addictions counselor with my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My underlying approach focuses strongly on the modality of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have seven years’ experience working as a counselor and helping clients to reach their goals. Whether you are struggling to create sustained change or feeling overwhelmed by your circumstances, please know that you do not have to go through it alone. Reach out to schedule a free 15-minute telephone consultation in order to share what you are looking for in counseling and see if I am a good match in helping you get there.
