My passion is working with traumatized children and their families. By creating a nurturing and supportive family environment that emphasizes personal strengths, fosters resilience and centers on hope, families can heal and grow stronger. I have been in the counseling field for the last nineteen years and I still love helping children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples improve their relationships and change dysfunctional patterns and maladaptive behaviors. Instilling hope in the healing process is the most important part of my job. I work from a wellness model and my goal is to support clients in their journey toward creating positive change in their lives. In addition to trauma, I also have experience working with ADHD, behavioral problems, bullying, depression, life adjustments, anxiety, and attachment problems. Using a family focused approach, helps everyone in the family gain new skills and learn to work together as a team to create change and solve problems.
