I am a Mexican American therapist with over 5 years of experience working with a variety of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. I began my clinical experience working with clients experiencing substance misuse in a residential treatment program which included individual and group therapy, crisis interventions, clinical case management and assessments/evaluations. I like to provide a nonjudgmental approach, and really find out who a person truly is to have a better understanding of all the parts that make a person who they are. My experience includes working with clients that have encountered trauma, grief and loss, addiction/substance misuse, depression, anxiety, bipolar, anger management, as well as the following populations: Military (active-duty, Veterans) and their family members, LatinX, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ issues, homelessness and incarceration. I'm here to walk alongside you to help you identify the root of your challenges and work towards creating a balance in your life that works for you. I like to take a more lighthearted approach to ease any difficulties or apprehension you may have to therapy.
