It is an honor when people come and are able to trust enough to begin the counseling work.Counseling is such a courageous undertaking. It begins with listening and respect, evolving into a cooperative effort.I strive to offer my clients a safe place to start and a balanced perspective in the change process. I hope I can help you come to a place of wellbeing. I work with Adults, Teens and Couples. My special interests include: anxiety, assertiveness, boundary work, communication skills, depression, ethnic/racial stress, family of origin work, gender roles/negotiation, history of abuse, identity/meaning, impulsivity, organization/planning, over-functioning, relationships, sexual health, shame issues, smoking cessation, and social justice. I enjoy working with clients of diverse cultural backgrounds and worldviews.
