About

Most of struggle at one time or another with feeling down or anxious. Sometimes those feelings can become overwhelming and may require extra support. Whether it's family crisis, chronic pain/illness, job stress, trauma, relationship conflict, or mental health challenges, you may find yourself feeling isolated, unheard, and invalidated. You might struggle in finding a way to cope. This is where I can help. Through therapy I can provide a fresh perspective and help identify maladaptive patterns that may be interfering with your ability to live a peaceful and fulfilled life.

I am skilled in many treatment modalities, but I think that the most effective intervention is being a safe place for my clients to process openly without fear of judgment.

One of my favorite related quotes by Mr. Fred Rogers: "Anything that is human is mentionable and anything that is mentionable can be manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone."
