My name is Christine Ochimas and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. You control your life and actions, but why not bring laughter and happiness to it while you try and figure it out? Think of me as the person who wants to help grow that seed inside of you, bring out the inner child, and awaken the laughter and beauty that has been waiting to come out! I can't wait to meet you! My therapeutic approach involves looking at the entire family or system and first discussing what goals and needs are expected from you in therapy, from there, I can better identify what theory works for you. Some theoretical approaches include systemic theory, humanistic theory, psychodynamic theory, and cognitive-behavioral theory. I find that understanding how I feel helps me better communicate with my family, friends, co-workers, clients, and everyone. I never had a voice until I started to truly look deep within myself, it was then that I found my voice, so I wanted to help others find their voice! Therapy is powerful and healing if you embrace it.
