Christine Carey has over 30 years of experience working in clinical settings with children and adolescents. She holds a B.A. degree in Social work and MSSA (social work), from Cleveland State University and Case western Reserve University. She concentrated in child and adolescent mental health with a particular focus on childhood development. She also hold a post-graduate certification in marital and family therapy from The Family Therapy Center at The University of Cincinnati. Her specialty areas include childhood anxieties and phobias, depression, school and social problems as well as adjustment to new and challenging circumstances. Chris, also works with adult women who are experiencing depression and anxiety related to life transitions, including, loss, chronic illness and relationship/family issues. My therapeutic philosophy is a person-centered, solution-oriented approach, that meets people 'where they are at' and explores and develops solutions that brings them to therapy.
