My ideal client seeks therapy to increase their awareness and insight into long held thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behavioral patterns. Understanding how the past relates to the present can often be a step gaining new perspectives and making better informed decisions. Sometimes we feel down, anxious, unhappy, and we're unsure why. Life can be like a puzzle, and I specialize in helping clients put the pieces together to better understand self, others, and your view of the world and your place in it. I've become familiar with the complexity of factors contributing to human motivation and resulting behavior and therefore I try to meet a client where they are in their readiness for therapy never forcing change. Whether it's your 1st therapy session or 100th, my focus is building comfort and validating that I understand your story, intent, and goals.
