Being a human is difficult. Life is stressful and overwhelming. Things just don’t seem to make sense. And sometimes it feels like it’s your fault for not being able to keep up with it. You try and put effort in, but the same patterns keep repeating and you find yourself again demoralized, hurt, and confused. Why can’t you get it right? The good news is that there’s nothing wrong with you. These are normal reactions to the way things are. In the therapy room, we can slow things down to be with the stress and overwhelm, the hurt and confusion. We can bring compassion and validation to the tender areas that need healing and rest. As we spend time with these tender areas, the stories of your life unfold. You begin to understand the wisdom carried within and where it is trying to guide you. Using compassion, creativity, and curiosity, I can support you in arriving to a sense of clarity with this. I will help you feel what needs to be felt for you to be your most authentic self. I enjoy working with teenagers, artists, activists, meditators, spiritual seekers, neurodivergent people, queer people, people in non-monogamous relationships, people with chronic illness, and anyone interested in learning to how to extend care to all the feelings and vulnerabilities that live within us.
