My passion is to help people rebuild their relationship with God; to thrive in sobriety. I have extensive experience with individuals that struggle with addictive and compulsive behaviors such as: sex, pornography, drugs, alcohol, codependent relationships, etc. Over the past few years, I obtained more specialized education to specifically assist with sex, pornography and lust addiction through the work of Dr. Patrick Carnes Ph.D; a pioneer in the field of sex addiction. His work combined with a method to heal relational/attachment wounds, called "IFS", is the best strategy that I have found for recovery. View 4 Photos At this time, I facilitate nine men's and one women's Christian recovery groups. I feel strongly about the importance and benefit of group support and believe much of what we struggle with is the result of a relational dis-ease, disconnection, and dis-integration. Healing and change requires relational repair with ourselves, God, and others. My primary goal is not years of talk therapy. Instead, I provide tools to work through disharmony without self-medicating behaviors and to learn how to repair relationships from a shortcoming of your own accord or when resentment arises from another's shortcoming. (Nov 2024 Update: I am only accepting new patients for group therapy.)
