About

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Idaho State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I believe that mental health challenges are personal and coming to counseling elicits vulnerability. I am eager to provide a nurturing environment which encourages honesty and authenticity. There is no judgement in our space together. Your voice is crucial to the healing process and our work together will be collaborative. I understand that it takes courage to start counseling and I acknowledge that step towards healing and growth.

I specialize in working with teenagers who struggle with anxiety related disorders. I operate from a Cognitive Behavioral theoretical lens, which encourages clients to investigate the relationship between their thoughts and behaviors, with an emphasis on core beliefs and personal narratives.

I have an interest in Mindfulness-based counseling, which incorporates meditation, breathing exercises, and body scanning. The approach taken will vary depending on the presenting concerns.
