About

I work with individuals and couples who are struggling with relational and individual emotional difficulties stemming from childhood neglect and/or abuse. I will show you how our brain and nervous system works to release long-held dysfunctional patterns of anxiety and depression. You will learn skills for Mindfulness and sensation awareness in order to release of the shock, grief, abandonment and shame that are often the root cause of depressive and hyperactive nervous systems.

My sessions combine cognitive behavioral therapies (your thoughts, beliefs) and body-centered counseling (Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Processing, Brainspotting) to reach the full spectrum of the mind/body relationship. I bring twenty-eight years of experience to the Mindfulness approaches in my work.

Helping you develop ways to increase your emotional resiliency is my specialty. We can do this through a combination of therapy techniques: Mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Craniosacral Therapy, and Brainspotting. If you are tired of feeling stuck, going around and around on your issues, call for your 30-minute free consultation.
