I love working with people who are ready to learn, grow and change. I have the most experience working with young children 0-11 and their parents. I enjoy working with adults with their individual needs as well. Children and adults who have experienced trauma and attachment wounds and are ready to learn how to heal and become empowered are my favorite people to work with. I am also interested in working with individuals who are exploring gender identity. My approach draws from many modalities but primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. I draw a great deal from trauma concepts, attachment concepts and information about the mind/body connection. I am interested in pursuing specialization training in the area of LGBTIA+ issues. People say that I am nonjudgmental, strengths based, and person centered. I believe that most problems have a solution, change is always possible but hard and that people have great power over their lives that they only need find for themselves. I love to watch people find this power and transform their lives and see my role as a guide.
