About

I think most of us can't get through life unscathed or without wounds. Whether as children or adults, those closest to us may not know the depth of our pain or how to help us heal. And we may not know how to express that pain. This is where having a sacred time and space can be pivotal in healing from events robbing us of our sense of well being as we navigate life. My goal for every client is that you can learn to love yourself and know deeply that you can handle life, no matter how it goes. You can turn a corner in an EMDR session - from 'I'm unlovable' to 'I am fine as I am.' Or 'I can't let go' to 'it is over.' You're worth it.

I am a seasoned clinician with 30 years in private practice, a wealth of therapeutic experience and training in numerous EMDR protocols to treat different client challenges. Previous to that I worked as an art therapist in a private psychiatric hospital, working with all ages. Mostly my clients know immediately that I deeply accept and respect them.

Years ago, when cell phones were first becoming a thing, I had a car mechanic who said "everyone in life needs 2 things- a cell phone and a therapist... I love my therapist." I do believe we can be about half as vital as our cell phones. Why not call or text and see if we may be a good match for each other? I look forward to our therapeutic journey together.
