All of us encounter struggles throughout life. At times, those struggles can be overwhelming and challenge our ability to cope. During those times it is difficult and sometimes, impossible, to recognize our own inherent strength. Therapy can allow for a safe space to work through those struggles. I enjoy working with clients in developing self awareness of their own strengths. Together, we can then re-build or construct new ways to cope with life's stressors. I have trained in various forms of psychotherapy. This allows me the flexibility to work with clients based on goals the client identifies for therapy. ACT, CBT, EMDR and The Gottman Method for Couples are all modes of therapy that I find beneficial in working together with clients, along with Mindfulness and Yoga. I bring over 20 years of experience in working with mental health and healthcare to my private practice. I have worked with clients who are challenged by chronic and terminal illness, trauma, sexual abuse, grief and loss, as well as, caregiving. My specialities also include anxiety and depression.
