My name is Catherine Castillo and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who would be honored to assist you on your path toward a more hopeful today and a better tomorrow. You will be treated warmly, with patience, and without judgment. Together we will look at what is concerning you and how to overcome your current challenges. Currently, I specialize in working with adults who are experiencing difficulties with their relationships, parenting, life transition, or trauma. Often depression, anxiety, or anger is initially present. I am trained in EMDR for trauma, ExRP for obsessions and compulsions, and Seeking Safety for relapse prevention. We will briefly review confidentiality related to therapy and the rest of the session will be devoted to you sharing what has led you to seek therapy. Having a therapist you connect with is a unique opportunity to focus on you and your needs and wants. I may offer you a tool to try out during the time between sessions.
