Asking for help can feel scary, but it's often one of the most courageous and beneficial things you can do for you and your loved ones. I genuinely believe that every person has the capability to make positive changes, improve their lives, create new habits, and most importantly - feel better. I have a laid-back counseling style that creates an environment of comfort, nonjudgment, and understanding. I utilize EMDR and a cognitive behavioral and strengths-based approach throughout my work, and aid my clients in doing the same in their own lives. I have worked with clients directly in a counseling capacity for about nine years, and in that time have seen the immense resiliency people are capable of. I have experience working in non-profit community mental health settings which has included work with seniors, adults, and adolescents with a variety of diagnoses. Through the different populations I've worked with, I've found a common theme - that everyone has the ability to overcome the challenges in their lives with the right environment of support. Honesty and vulnerability are the first steps toward this growth. I would love to provide a safe environment where this vulnerability can lead to healing for you.
