About

Accepting new clients as of 12/05/2024. I work with adults who want to live a more meaningful life that isn’t dominated by anxiety, shame, and other forms of suffering. To achieve this, I help individuals connect with their wisdom and vitality to live better lives outside of the therapy room. I work with individuals to address issues including mood and anxiety, relationship struggles, substance use, life transitions, gender and sexuality, complex trauma, and identity exploration. We all struggle to deal with various types of pain, but with support and compassion, it is possible to live a life liberated from suffering.

I see clients as whole, complex individuals, not as problems or diagnoses. I use several evidence-based models attuned to each person's values, needs, and life context, including mindful, psychodynamic, somatic, and experiential approaches. I am especially passionate about helping clients untangle from internalized oppression, complex trauma, and shame.

Having searched for my own therapist, I understand the challenge the search can present. It's important to carefully consider fit in this process. I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation to help you get a feel for what it may be like to work with me. If you find we are not a fit, I will gladly offer other recommendations for the help you need.
