About

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker offering therapy to help individuals gain greater understanding of themselves. I approach therapy through a humanistic anti-oppressive lens, with a focus on how systems and relationships impact our everyday functioning. I have previous experience working with individuals impacted by carceral systems and other systems of power and oppression. I believe in treating everyone with curiosity, humility, and compassion, and I enjoy building on clients' existing strengths and interests to help them develop skills to better advocate for themselves. I welcome creativity in treatment!

I specialize in trauma (PTSD/C-PTSD), mood disorders, and dual diagnosis. Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I enjoy helping clients integrate and process traumatic experiences to improve their daily functioning. I'm passionate about incorporating principles of harm reduction to support clients who use substances.

I believe that trust and the therapeutic alliance are the most essential components of treatment. I'm a collaborative therapist, with a focus on reciprocal feedback and transparency. If you are looking to deepen your relationship to yourself, examine and integrate past experiences, or address unhelpful patterns of behavior, I'd love to hear from you.
