I work with you to define and achieve the life YOU want, whether that is managing symptoms, solving a problem, or simply living a more fulfilling life and being your authentic self. I believe a good therapist, like a good friend, doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear. I challenge my clients to see new perspectives, notice their blind spots, and find new insights. My theoretical orientation draws primarily from humanism and existentialism. I draw techniques from MI, CBT, and DBT. I would describe my style as cognitive-based and intellectual, with no “BS” and a healthy dose of humor! View 5 Photos I see teens and adults for individual therapy. I work with a variety of topics including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions/adjustments, and interpersonal/relationship/family concerns. I especially enjoy working with addictions, grief, and those coming to therapy because they want to “thrive rather than survive.” I received my BA from the University of Pennsylvania magna cum laude and my MS in Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling magna cum laude from VCU. I have experience working in inpatient men’s SUD treatment and inpatient crisis stabilization. I am also the proud daughter of an Argentinean immigrant and speak fluent (but non-native) Spanish.
