Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I offer psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to individuals and groups in a positive, safe, non-judgmental environment. My goal is to provide the right balance of support and challenge to help each client work, play and love to the fullest of his or her potential. I frequently work with clients who have experienced early wounding as well as those having difficulty with transitions in relationships, aging, loss, or end of life. I enjoy work with artists seeking to free creative energy. I see each client as unique and our work together as an exploration of what is possible, desirable and achievable. Initially trained as a psychotherapist at Bryn Mawr, I spent an additional 10 years training as a psychoanalyst at PSP. I am currently seeing clients as a psychoanalyst at the Philadelphia Consultation Center & School of Psychoanalysis. I also hold an interdisciplinary specialization certificate in child and family well-being. My training as a psychotherapist/psychoanalyst to groups and individuals is enhanced by previous careers in education and business. In addition to running my own business, I spent 2 decades as a mentor/administrator to both gifted and troubled students as well as a teacher of literature and creative writing.
