Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
As a therapist for over twenty-five years, I have helped adults from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of issues, feel and live better. I have extensive experience providing short and long-term psychotherapy to individuals ranging from college students to seniors. I strive to be supportive and non-judgmental in helping you address challenges, which may arise at different stages of life. My expertise includes treatment of anxiety disorders; depression; trauma; relationship, divorce, grief, work and health issues; and other life stresses and transitions. My treatment approach includes the use of cognitive behavioral as well as mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques. When appropriate, I incorporate breathing and relaxation techniques derived from my many years of yoga practice. I bring to my practice life experience with my own large family. My community involvement includes membership on boards of directors of schools in the area. I look forward to working with you!
