My name is Carol Brown. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I worked in public mental health with adults and families; and Hephzibah Behavioral Health with high risk children and adolescents for several years dealing with many issues, including addiction and anger manage- ment. In 2016, I began to focus my time on building a full-time private practice. Now, in a private setting, I offer Marriage and Family Therapy, Couple Therapy and Individual Therapy to adults, adolescents, and children. I offer specialty service related to substance abuse and anger control. The idea of change creates a lot of stress for many people. Most of us would rather continue doing the same things over and over, even when we know those things don't work. It's easier to do what we know, than to change. The process of change is not that difficult. When you can change your thinking, you can change your life. Do you have the courage to try? "The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind." Caroline Myss
