About

I strive to foster a safe, affirming and supportive therapeutic environment, and view therapy as a collaborative process in which the client is the expert. I am curious and observant, vulnerable and honest and I look forward to walking alongside you through your therapy journey. I encourage you to experiment with new behaviors that could help you embrace your thoughts and feelings rather than fighting or feeling guilty for them and begin to engage in your life through making choices that move you toward your values.

I use an integrative approach that is strengths-based and person-centered. My work is guided by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and multicultural, feminist, queer, and existential theories. I have experience treating a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, identity development, LGBTQ+ issues, women’s/parenting issues, trauma and grief.

I cherish the honest and authentic conversations and therapeutic relationships I hope to foster with each of my clients. Taking the step to build insight and self-awareness through therapy is courageous and it is an honor and privilege to be trusted with your story and a gift to see you in your wholeness.
