About

Moms are “supposed” to be grateful, energetic, and endlessly positive … right? And they definitely shouldn't feel discouraged, resentful, anxious, or depressed. Well, here in the real world we know this isn’t always true. Becoming a parent can be one of the most rewarding experiences, and one of the most difficult. And in some cases, it’s both at the same time. The stigma portrayed by the media about the “ideal” mom often prevents people from seeking help when they really need it. It’s common for individuals to suffer in silence instead of getting the right support.

I want to change that. I specialize in perinatal mental health which means that I work with women struggling to conceive, those who are grieving, women who have experienced reproductive or birth trauma, and those who find they’ve lost themselves to their role as a mother. I offer a listening ear as well as effective, therapies such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR.

I know what it’s like to feel alone in mental health struggles, and I’m passionate about helping other women who are suffering. No matter what you’re going through, it’s ok to not be ok. I’m here to offer a safe place where you can finally let it all go and get the support you need. Contact me for a free consultation to see how I can help.
