About

It’s important to acknowledge that in life we have and will face challenges that overwhelm us and leave us feeling trapped. My goal as a therapist is to help you understand that these feelings are not only normal but are expected as we go through life. Teaching individuals that they have the power and control to alter what does not make them happy.

I have been in the counseling field for six years. I have a background in alcohol and drug addiction, anxiety, depression, and crisis intervention. I utilize techniques such as DBT, CBT, and strength-based models to help in overcoming barriers and identifying coping skills.

Let’s work together to discover and build upon your personal strengths, relinquish self-defeating behaviors, and foster new ways of finding purpose, meaning, and joy in whatever life puts in your path.
