About

Hi, I’m Brooke! I am passionate about educating clients to understand their thoughts and behavioral patterns better and learn healthy boundary setting with self and others to build resiliency. As a person-centered therapist, I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey with my clients. On that journey I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology as framework and tools to support understanding, learning, and internal shifts that result in sustainable relational and behavioral changes. I offer an honest and authentic approach, and my goal is to provide a warm and inviting environment.

One of my specialities is anxiety counseling. As humans, we’re biologically built to experience anxiety symptoms, which is a necessary and healthy part of our emotional range. However, when anxiety becomes problematic, and we begin experiencing more anxious symptoms than a situation typically warrants, or we are feeling overwhelmed by a genuinely

anxiety-ridden situation in life, anxiety can leave one feeling incapacitated and stuck in constant worry. I help clients navigate these concerns and more in a safe and therapeutic space. Deciding to begin therapy may bring up questions and concerns. If you have any, let's chat about it! Call me at (512)843-3484, email me at brookependleton2020 at gmail.com
