About

Are you tired? Do you feel like life throws you one obstacle after another? Are you so overwhelmed that you sometimes feel paralyzed by stress or anxiety? If so, you're not alone. As a Black woman and New Orleans native, I understand what it means to embody resilience while weary of being known for that characteristic. But as a counselor, I understand how important emotional well-being, healthy relationships, and internal motivation are for sustaining difficult times. Therapy is a wonderful tool that can help you achieve stability and wellness. Don't let fear, worry, depression or shame keep holding you back from the life you want.

My primary approaches are reality therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). However, a variety of interventions will be used to provide culturally responsive care. Our sessions will be tailored to your needs. We will work as a team to address your problems until you achieve insight, balance and confidence in your ability to live a meaningful life.

You don’t have to figure everything out alone. You don’t have to struggle in silence while you try to “keep it together.” It's time to stop “avoiding” and live your life in a healthier way. When you reach out, I'll be glad to answer your questions and discuss how we might work together to focus on your mental health and wellness.
