Life is complex, always changing, and at times can feel out of our control. The way we cope with our experiences, emotions, and thoughts can and often does become maladaptive over time. I believe that achieving mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional balance is essential in working towards creating a more effective life. Finding connection with self and the world around you can help to refocus on what is important to you, allowing you to live your life to your full potential. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been providing counseling services in Alaska for over a decade. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and have been a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor (CDC2) since 2013. I am also certified as a Grief Counselor Specialist and have training in DBT, CBT, and parenting through Love and Logic. I am passionate about helping people shift from living to thriving in their life while reaching their personal goals. I believe that every individual is unique, and I approach our time together as such. Healing, learning, and changing creates vulnerability therefore therapy will be a tailored process for every individual.
