“Wellness” means something different to everyone. Mental and emotional wellness are key to living a healthy, happy life. My approach to therapy combines traditional somatic methodologies with components of mindfulness & breath work. Using a client-centered approach, I believe in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship in a safe, comfortable environment. The therapeutic process is a personal & individualized one, and as such this allows me to meet you in the present while being a catalyst through your change process. View 8 Photos The somatic approach is a body centered modality. Understanding the influence of one's physical experiences in relation to the emotional and mental states can be incredibly powerful. Learning how to notice, allow and integrate what comes up in our bodies is the crux of my approach. My experience is diverse within the mental health field, stretching over 15 years from working with chronically mentally ill adults to teens, children and families. Throughout my practice, I’ve learned that there is not a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Change is possible when one is motivated and supported.
