About

Navigating life and all of its choices can be difficult for everyone. I work with children ages 4-16+ and adults who need a caring, listening, licensed professional counselor (LPC). Effective changes come from setting goals in a safe, nonjudgmental space. We will work together to explore and set goals through evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT).  Achieving goals that are set in our sessions can provide benefits over an entire lifetime.

As a former school counselor, I have worked with all ages and their parents. I specialize in anxiety relief, social anxiety, grief (through divorce or death), self- discipline, anger management, and trauma. I understand the school environment and can help children gain confidence as they learn strategies for growth through our sessions.

I also counsel with adults of all ages who struggle with divorce, loss, gender, career choice and trauma. I enjoy building effective relationships with all clients and working toward realistic goals. If you need a compassionate, genuine, and engaged listener to work with you or your children to solutions for improvement, I would be honored to help.
