“We all need to be seen and honored in the same way that we all need to breathe.” - Brené Brown. My primary focus in the room is to make you feel seen and honored. I approach counseling from a relational perspective; our therapeutic relationship is the most important thing to create. When you can feel safe, trusting, seen, and honored, healing and change can begin. My therapeutic approach is emotion focused with my clients; we explore patterns in their own relationships that often lead to shame, fear, or anger. We collaborate to explore how we can shift these patterns towards joy, belonging, and acceptance. I specialize in supporting individual adults and teenagers, addressing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, disordered eating, and relationship/attachment issues. I would like to acknowledge the bravery it takes to explore counseling and begin this journey. I am hopeful and excited to begin walking this path alongside you. “Being the 'best you can be' is really only possible when you are deeply connected to another.” – Sue Johnson
