Do you often feel like people don't understand you and that no matter how hard you try that you struggle to fit in or that you never quite seem to live up to what others expect of you? Brains are just different. I take great care to respect and affirm neurodiversity. We all think differently. I will assist you in the process of getting to know yourself better, understanding how your brain works, and how it affects your day to day life, both good or challenging. I will honor your full experience and together we will discover what might work for you so you can live an authentic life and feel competent. Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy include topics such as masking, interospection, burnout, executive functioning, sensory sensitivities, body/muscle tension, sleep problems, navigating relationships, co-occurring depression and anxiety, and social and rejection trauma. I use Neurodivergent and Trauma Informed CBT, Somatic Sensory Strategies, and acceptance. Book a free 15 minute consultation with me to discuss the benefits of therapy and the directions we might take in the journey to self-discovery and competence. I love what I do and work hard to help you feel relaxed and calm while you are working through difficult emotions. I love to celebrate small victories.
