About

I believe that each person has the capacity to discover the tools and resources within themselves that they need to heal. When I envision the human person, I consider all aspects of that person, the whole person. My approach in therapy is person centered and through deep listening and compassion I offer clients the opportunity to feel seen and heard. When we feel stuck and alone, a sense of connection can aid us in moving from existing to living. Dr. Peter Levine stated, “Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness”. I hope to be that empathic witness for clients.

My approach to therapy is grounded in attachment, a person-centered approach, and mind-body theories. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. and work to help people heal from trauma. Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-oriented therapeutic model developed by Dr. Peter Levine to help resolve your psychological and physical suffering.

It takes courage to reach out for support, especially when life has been difficult, confusing, and painful. I welcome the opportunity to support you in your life's journey and would feel honored to be a part of this sacred space with you.
