Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
My direct and respectful approach is the most prominent and helpful aspect of my work. I provide an environment of warmth and trust, so you can feel free to discuss any problem. I take an active and engaged role and when needed, I will also teach concrete skills of managing difficult personal situations or painful emotions. I think of myself as coach, teacher and mentor to help each client find a way of living that is right for them. I have an eclectic approach but my specialties are in mindfulness and attachment and trauma informed work. I have extensive experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a certificate in Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, am certified in the "Becoming Safely Embodied " skills based on attachment theory. I've completed level 1 in Internal Family Systems therapy and am in training in EMDR. Entering therapy is a brave decision that shows strength and motivation to heal and grow. If you are looking for a safe place to discuss the areas of your life or things about yourself that you'd like to change or understand, then please give me a call.
