Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Emotional growth is a lifelong process. Sometimes we get weighed down by old scripts or events that have left emotional scars. I draw on 40 years of accumulated wisdom from clinical practice to help patients navigate life's challenges, including grief, life transitions, parenthood, and challenging family-of-origin issues. A practical, interactive therapist, I bring humor, compassion and a good analytic skill set to my work. I'm trained in relaxation techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and structural family therapy. I have extensive experience working with clients of all ages. Making change takes courage, and sometimes time. But it can and does happen, often in ways you can't yet imagine. It is my privilege to join you as this journey of self discovery leads you to a more fulfilling and joyous life. I have a part-time practice with day, and limited evening hours. I accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and accept a limited number of sliding-scale patients.
