About

I have always believed that we are the masters of our destiny, and couldn't do the work I do without trusting that everyone is capable of change. One of the most exciting aspects of therapy is embracing that hope for yourself, your child, or family. Throughout my 30 years of experience, I have developed therapeutic approaches to empower clients and help them manage and overcome feelings of depression and anxiety, conflicted relationships, unhealthy behaviors and other stressors. As a family therapist, I work closely with families when treating children and adolescents, and offer guidance on parenting issues.

Along with training in marriage and family therapy, I am a clinical art therapist, and certified in EMDR. Incorporating these into treatment when appropriate offers a novel approach to understanding and reassessing ingrained patterns of beliefs and behaviors. Art therapy requires no artistic skill, and is effective at any age.

I work with children as young as 4 years old, as well as adolescents, adults, couples and families. I am an out of network provider, and reserve a number of slots for a negotiated fee.
