Life is challenging. Everyone experiences life events expected and unexpected. As a therapist I believe in partnering with each client to assist them in identifying their specifics needs and goals to meet the identified needs for treatment success. I engage clients in a supportive and sensitive manner, yet I challenge clients to move them from their comfort zone to encourage their personal and professional growth. With 23 years of experience as a social worker, I have worked with various populations and communities. I offer counseling services to adults. I specialize in the treatment of PTSD, depression, grief, anxiety, adjustment, mood and other disorders. I use multiple treatment modalities primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. I believe each individual has a personal journey and while on their personal journey of growth and transformation they have the ability to positively affect the lives of others. Because of my personal journey of grief, loss, and restoration I am motivated to help others as they grow and transform. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
