I am Armanda "Mandy Sue" Coulter, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-LCSW in the state of Oklahoma. I take a strength-based, person-centered approach as we are all unique and all have strengths even when we are unable to recognize them. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, substance abuse/addictions, Bi-Polar Disorders, PTSD-trauma, Marriage/Family Issues (relationships), Personality Disorders, as well as experience in working with underserved populations. I am a strength-based, person-centered clinician that believes in making my clients feel heard and validated. I typically utilize some form of CBT-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist in challenging irrational thoughts/beliefs and making positive behavioral changes. I am extremely laid back and provide a safe and comfortable environment for my clients. I am nonjudgmental and open making sure that my clients feel safe, heard, and validated. I typically ask clients what they expect to gain from therapy and assist them in creating goals that are obtainable.
